Archived VersionThe Degree Regulations and Programmes of Study has been formulated as a dynamic online publication in order to provide the most up to date information possible. Helping Troubled Children and Young People through Individual and Group Work (ED1075)? Credit Points : 15 ? SCQF Level : 11 ? Acronym : EDU-P-ED1075 This module explores the helping skills needed to work with children and young people of school age in distress and difficulty. It includes a focus on mental health and on different ways of looking at mental health problems. It also provides an exploration of groupwork and counselling approaches in education. Course members on awards in Education Support should have completed the module Interpersonal Skills and Consultancy - Education.
