Advanced Image Processing 5 (P00802)

Students study elements of image processing theory and application through the application of signal processing techniques. The module covers the topics of:

1. image enhancement in the spatial and frequency domains,

2. image restoration,

3. color image processing,

4. image compression,

5. morphology, and

6. segmentation.

Students study the theory underlying these topics and apply them to sample problems.
