Applied Neurobiology (P00916)

The anatomy, physiology and pathology of the equine nervous system will be studied with particular emphasis on the recent research undertaken in this area of equine science. A critical assessment of the current research issues will also be undertaken in relation to its relevance to disease management in the horse. Discussion sessions will also take place as a means of exploring the application of current and future research to these clinical problems with the aim of enhancing the welfare of the horse.
