On completion of the dissertation project, we expect students to be able to:
• manage the progress of a long-term project such that a useful result is obtained • harness their knowledge of remote sensing and image processing for research purposes • critically assess each step of their research for validity • explore, using critical judgement, the research literature in their topic • write an account of their research that meets the specification of an appropriate academic journal • create a web page summary of their research for a non-specialist audience Assessment Information
