Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
This course gives an overall knowledge of the history of musical instruments with a particular regard to the instruments of Western art music, and develops a critical approach to relevant information sources.
Assessment Information
Two coursework essay c.3,000 words (30% each) and one 2-hour examination (40%).
