Prohibited combinations : This course is not available to students on the BA Humanities and Social Science. Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To foster in students fluency at the keyboard in harmonising and accompanying melodies in 'classical', jazz and popular styles. To learn something of improvisation at the keyboard, both on ground basses, ostinatos, 12-bar blues and other recognised patterns as well as freer styles.
Assessment Information
One 30 minute class exam (25%) and one 30 minute degree examination (75%).
