Knowledge and understanding of Greek History from the
8th century BC to 30 BC; collecting, synthesising and criticising primary and secondary source materials; presenting extended pieces of reasoned argument on the basis of evidence; evaluating different approaches to material and expressing clearly arguments orally and in writing. One essay (not more than 2500 words) - 40%.
