Acronym : BIO-4-PLdevbiot The first part of this course examines how plants have been exploited as sources of food, drugs, fuel and fibres and how new techniques are leading to new uses of plants. The second part examines how genes regulate plant development and how manipulation of these genes has led to the development of novel crops. Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : Permission of the Curriculum Approval Officer. May not be taken with U01497 - Plant Development/Evolution of Plant Development (Developmental Biology). ?
