Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
This is the fourth of the four 'Critical Practice' courses which aim to provide students with a set of practical skills and range of knowledge that will complement and supplement other course work undertaken in the honours years. The course will develop the students' knowledge of the modes, genres and technical constituents of dramatic performance, with specific regard to a number of the key movements, theories and practices that have shaped modern performance. By the end of the course students should be able to analyse the constituents of a dramatic performance and reflect upon the critical accounts of performance theory produced by others and themselves.
