take the Mathematics courses prescribed for the Year 1 programme of the
Mathematical Physics MPhys. |
(2) Students wishing to take Informatics
(Schedule O) courses in Year 3 will need to take further Informatics courses

(3) As an alternative, students may take the Mathematics
and Mathematical Physics courses prescribed for the Year 2 programme of
the Mathematical Physics MPhys. |
(4) The Programme Guide gives details
and constraints on choice of courses, to facilitate advance planning. |
(5) Progression to the final
years of the MPhys programme requires no less than than 55% overall in Junior
Honours and an average of at least 50% in Section B of the core course examinations
(Quantum Mechanics, Dynamics & Relativity, Statistical Mechanics, and
Electromagnetism). This is in addition to the general progression requirements. |
