† Further courses must include Chemistry 2X for entrants with Advanced Standing with SQA qualifications, and for students transferring into Year 2 of the degree programme with a pass in Biological Chemistry 1. For other entrants with Advanced Standing, Chemistry 2X is strongly recommended. For any entrant with Advanced Standing, further courses may include Mathematics courses, dependent on entrance qualifications, as determined by the Director of Studies.
