(2)  As an alternative, students may take the Mathematics and Mathematical Physics courses prescribed for the Year 2 programme of the Physics MPhys.
(3)  Progression to Honours requires a minimum average grade of 'C' performance in MP2A: Vectors, Tensors and Fields and MP2B: Dynamics
(4)  As an alternative, students may take Physical Mathematics from Schedule Q and Complex Variables from Schedule P.
(5)  Progression to the final years of the MPhys programme requires no less than than 55% overall in Junior Honours. This is in addition to the general progression requirements.
(6) The Programme Guide gives details and constraints on choice of courses, to facilitate advance planning.
