| * Entry into the third year normally requires
(i) passes in all subjects taken in the first two years, achieved no later
than May of the second year, and (ii) a mark of 50% or above in Ancient
History 2 and Introduction to Medieval Europe 2. |

within the period c. 400 - c.1600, unless (in year 3) the course is History
in Practice, which is strongly recommended for students intending to take
the Dissertation in history. |
