    German 2: Literature and Society is only available to students taking German 2.
    Culture and Society in 20th Century Italy 2 is only available to students who have passed Italian 1.
    The Golden and Silver Ages of Russian Literature is available to Literatures, Languages and Cultures students who have passed their first year language course.
    Scandinavian Languages 2 is available to students who have taken a Scandinavian Studies language in year one.

  • Notes: Entry to Honours normally requires (i) passes in all six subjects taken in the first two years, and (ii) a mark of 50% or above in the scond year of the relevant Modern European Language.

    At least 30 weeks spent in German-speaking country as appropriate.
