PLEASE NOTE: THIS COURSE IS OWNED AND ADMINISTRATED BY ECA
Synopsis
This is a project based module with a remit for
regional planning in rural areas. It involves survey &
analysis at the community and regional scale,
planning and considerations of implementation.
Typically it might assess the impact of change on a
settlement or a key unit of landscape.
Aims
1. To encourage knowledge and understanding of
rural issues within their context/s.
2. To develop further an understanding of the
theory, tools, techniques and methodologies
appropriate for planning/design at a community
& regional scale.
3. To help students develop group working skills.

Site visits, studio-based, group crits
