One of the following topics will be available in any given year: (a) The Upanisads with their Vedic background; (b) The rise of Vaisnavism; (c) Saivism; (d) Worship of the goddess; (e) Epic and Puranic Hinduism; (f) the six systems of Hindu thought; (g) The bhakti movement. |
