Course description |
This course will cover the physiology, molecular biology and biochemistry of higher plants and their interactions with microorganisms. This course particularly explores the aspects of biology that makes plants unique. It also highlights research areas that may be particularly relevant to agricultural biotechnology. |

Special Arrangements
All lectures will run from 1.30 - 2.30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays in the Swann Building room 7.15. Practicals will run from 2.30 - 5.00 p.m. in the Rutherford building teaching labs. There will also be a tutorial series from 4.15 - 5.00 p.m. on selected Thursdays (sse course book for details).
As biological sciences courses have a 1.30 p.m. start, the Plant Physiology course schedule was not compatible with the available times to select from timetab. Hence, this information has been included here. |
