Course description |
An exploration of religious life in Britain and Ireland during the "age of improvement", with emphasis on responses to early industrial society, efforts to reform and extend the established Churches, the growth of religious pluralism, the Oxford Movement and Disruption of the Church of Scotland, and the role of religion in shaping national identities on the "Celtic fringe". |

Visiting students should have at least 3 Divinity/Religious Studies courses at grade B or above (or be predicted to obtain this). We will only consider University/College level courses. |
