Course description |
The course takes as its starting point an investigation into the goals of the 5 - 14 technology programme in schools and will analyse how technological capability can be developed in pupils. There is an exploration of a range of technological activities and their learning outcomes, and practical exercises involved in their design. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the student will be able to:
i. Describe the attainment targets prescribed for the 5-14 technology programme.
ii. Analyse technological experiences and explain their learning outcomes.
iii. Design interesting and challenging technological activities.
iv. Successfully undertake placement 1
