Course description The course sets out to exemplify school technology experiences and engages students in the development of technological resources which would make their teaching more effective, efficient and economic as well as interesting and stimulating.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the student should be able to:

i. Prepare resource materials for the teaching of:

Graphic Communication: e.g. macro's for orthographic drawing, presentation drawings for a 'Thematic Presentation'.

Craft and Design: e.g. design case studies, presentation models, homeworks.

Technological Studies: e.g. working systems, tutorials, case studies.

Practical craft skills e.g. exemplar material.

ii. Demonstrate an understanding of the developments in technological education in the Scottish educational system: e.g. The Higher Still initiative and its subsequent implementation.
