Course description |
This module focuses on what happens to performance when people are under stress and what can be done to maintain performance. By considering the transactional nature of stress and the significant interaction of emotion and individual differences students are expected to develop a perspective that is appropriate for application in different environments and with different individuals. Current theory and empirical research are considered throughout the unit to help students understand how and why effective coping can be achieved through psychological intervention. |
