Course description |
This module is designed to enable the experienced TESOL practitioner to examine critically the wider curricular framework which determines or influences classroom practice. The module will initially focus on the concept of the curriculum, and then move on to examine concepts and the implications of needs analysis, goal setting, syllabus design, methodology, assessment and evaluation. Alternative models will be reviewed and course members will be asked to relate these ideas to a critical analysis of their own teaching situation. |
