Course description By the end of this module participants will: have an enhanced understanding of the relevance of the psychology of language learning to the teacher; demonstrate a knowledge of different theories of language acquisition and their influence on second language teaching methods; have an increased knowledge of learner factors which affect language learning; be aware of current research into individual language learning, including research into individual differences, learner strategies, and motivation; have considered the relevance and application of such research to the facilitation of individual language learning.
