Course description |
An intensive course in spoken and written Norwegian for those with no previous knowledge of the language. Introduction to modern Norwegian literature and civilisation with selected texts. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
To provide a firm grounding in the Norwegian language and an introduction to literary and cultural issues. |
Assessment Information
3 pieces of written work; 1 oral assessment; 1 two-hour class exam. Continuous assessment 50%; class examination 10%; oral examination 10%; degree examination 30%. |
