| Course description |
The course will focus on the range and development of Scandinavian children's literature in the post-war period with particular emphasis on the 1980s and 1990s. A variety of theoretical issues and critical approaches to the study of children's literature will be covered. |

| Students who successfully complete the course will develop an enhanced ability to read individual texts in the light of historical, theoretical and linguistic contexts. |
Assessment Information
| 1 essay of 1500 words (30 %), 1 exam paper of 2 hours (70 %). |
