Course description |
The course focuses on the period beginning when Scandinavian is first recognisable as a separate branch of Germanic and continuing until the late Medieval period and the consequences of the Reformation. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete the course will develop an understanding of the changes that happened in the Scandinavian languages within the time period in question, what forces were behind the various changes and how the changes are manifested in the texts studied in the course. |
