Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The student will have designed a workable disaster management protocol for an explosion occurring in a city setting, using an existing Emergency Department. Detailing how projected numbers will be processed. Detailing the staffing and communications issues. Detailing the limitations of resources and how these would be addressed. The protocol and resource allocation must be supported by evidence from the literature. |
Assessment Information
Supervised reflective assignments, which includes a written element that is appropriate for the elective subject.
The University of Edinburgh's postgraduate common marking scheme will be used (assessment of dissertation component).
