Course description |
This course aims to introduce the specialist study of printmaking through an awareness of different practices within the area, and the acquisition of skills and techniques appropriate to a determined area of study, which is substantiated through Research/Drawing 2. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of this element, the student is expected to:
1. Demonstrate basic knowledge of practices and concepts in contemporary printmaking.
2. Consider issues of scale, composition and technique.
3. Utilise research material to determine an area for development of work.
4. Use a range of approaches to communicate their ideas through the medium of print. |
Assessment Information
Mid-session review and end of year assessment by portfolio submission.
Each learning outcome is equally weighted. |
