| Course description |
This course is an introduction to applied linguistics. It provides a survey of the most active research areas in the field, examines the nature of pedagogical descriptions of languages and their place in language teaching and explores the principal issues being debated within critical applied linguistics. |

Visiting students should have at least 3 Linguistics/Language Sciences courses at grade B or above (or be predicted to obtain this). We will only consider University/College level courses. |
