Course description |
This course will introduce students to philosophical questions raised by the skills and methodologies developed elsewhere in the curriculum.
On successful completion of the course, students will demonstrate a familiarity with some of the major issues and debates in the field of musicology, and will be able to draw on a range of critical and historical approaches to music research. This knowledge will inform their own research and prepare them for dissertation writing.
