Course description |
Introduction to several theories of group processes. How to set up a group, common groupwork problems, ending a group. The use of groups within the health care setting, bereavement, therapy and support groups. |

To gain an understanding of the range of theoretical approaches to group work.
To familiarise the student with the factors involved in setting up and conducting a group.
