The MSc in Advancing Nursing Practice Dissertation (extended) can take the form of an emperical piece of nursing research or a proposal for a research project. It should consist of an extended review of relevant literature and demonstrate extensive theoretical grounding. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
| The objectives of the dissertation are to give the student an opportunity to undertake extensive study in a particular topic and to formulate a reasoned research approach on the basis of a critical appraisal of existing theory and knowledge. |
