Course description |
The course will enable students to research, draft and submit an extended dissertation in a Philosophical topic of their choosing, in consultation with a suitably-qualified and experienced supervisor. |
Course Delivery Information
Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, students will be able to:-
- pursue topics in Philosophy through supervised but independently-motivated study;
- construct extended written pieces in Philosophy which demonstrate a suitable grounding in primary and secondary Philosophical literature;
- make use of library and other resources as part of a sustained research project.
- complete a self-contained research project within an agreed schedule.

Assessed by a self-contained dissertation of no more than 8,000 words, including a full bibliography. |
