Course description |
The dissertation will be written during the second semester and summer vacation, and will be 15,000 words long. The topic and plan of writing will be agreed in advance with the student's supervisor. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The programme of which this dissertation forms a part is intended to provide an intensive grounding in philosophy, its methodology, and techniques of research. Successful completion of the dissertation will mean that students are able to:
- develop a philosophical argument at length
- apply the philosophical techniques they have learnt in the taught courses |
