Course description This course explores topics in the theory of value, varying from year to year depending on the research interests of the instructors. Recent topics are indicative of the themes that may be covered:

- the value of freedom and equality
- the nature of distinctively epistemic value
- the connection betwee value, reason, and ought

This course is not specifically a continuation of Value Theory 1, although some of the themes may be connected in interesting ways.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
The course aims to both develop students' philosphical skills and their knowledge of various issues in value theory. The teaching is seminar based, and each week students will have to prepare by reading set work.
