Course description |
The theory of virtue is a central area in moral philosophy, which has played an important part in the thought of philosophers from many different traditions, and whose centrality is now being increasingly recognised in Anglo-American philosophy. By approaching the topic from a historical perspective, this course seeks to bridge the gap between historical philosophy (Ancient and Early Modern) and contemporary philosophy.
