Course description This course introduces, in a non-relativistic framework, the basic field theoretical techniques, leading naturally to the applications in statistical physics that are presented in the level 11 courses Advanced Statistical Physics.

Upon successful completion of this course it is intended that a student will be able to explain and solve problems on:
