| Course description |
To provide training in the searching, reading and critical assessment of the primary scientific literature. Students are required to produce a review article on the subject of their Research Project to be carried out in the remainder of the MPhys year. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
| At the end of this course students will be able to conduct a comprehensive search of the scientific literature relevant to a research topic and summarise the crucial aspects of the search in written and oral form to a professional standard. |
