Pre-requisites Students MUST have passed: Psychology Methodology 1 (PSYL10034) AND Psychology Methodology 2 (PSYL10035)

Pre-requisites Degree major in Psychology and passes in psychology courses at least to the equivalent of junior honours level in Edinburgh. Prior agreement with the 4th Year Honours Course Organiser

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to elucidate the nature of the difficulties that some children have in acquiring spoken language.
- They will be able to evaluate a range of theoretical accounts of these difficulties.
- They will be able to consider the educational implications of research on children with language impairments.

Visiting Student Variant Assessment
Long essay (3,000 words) to be set by the course organiser and due Friday 5pm Week 13.
