Course description |
Jewish views of Jesus and Christianity from antiquity to the present day. It will also consider a range of Jewish texts, including rabbinic literature, medieval disputations, and modern theology and literature. |

Pre-requisites |
Visiting students should have at least 3 Divinity/Religious Studies courses at grade B or above (or be predicted to obtain this). We will only consider University/College level courses. |

Course Delivery Information
Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students should be able to 1) read and analyse a variety of Jewish textual genres; 2) demonstrate an understanding of Jewish history in Christian Europe over the past two thousand years; 3) outline a variety of theoretical models for analysing Jewish Christian relations; 4) articulate applications to Jewish-Christian relations drawing from postcolonial theory, feminist theory and post-structuralism.
