Course description This course is designed to enable students to: Deepen their critical abilities to interpret film; Understand key concepts in film criticism and theory; Evaluate specific theological and religious approaches to film. Deconstruct underlying world-views embodied in cinematic narratives and characterisations.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Film Ethics aims help participants to identify the areas of both potential conflict and conversation between film and Christian ethics.
Assessment Information
Students will be asked to submit a 3,000 word essay.
