Course description The key aim of this programme is to provide masters level training in biomedical research to qualified clinicians wishing to pursue a career in biomedical research. It will be assumed that students on the programme have little training in modern molecular biology, molecular methods or statistics but have a minimum of laboratory experience.

Through doing a laboratory based research projects, course and seminar work together with transferable skills course, clinically qualified doctors would learn research skills in a chosen area of biomedical research (e.g. inflammation, cardiovascular sciences etc)
