The course consolidates the students' knowledge of modern standard Arabic which covers the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The students occasionally read some modern Arabic literature. |

| To understand and respond to writing and spoken Arabic, communicate in speaking and writing, translate and interpret from English to Arabic and vice versa. |
