A basic knowledge of the development and regulation of the nursing profession.
An orientation to person-centred nursing care based on the construct of the person as a 'bio-psycho-social-spiritual system'.
An understanding of the concept of evidence-based nursing practice.
A clear grasp of the basic principles and process of care delivery and evaluation of care.
An understanding of nursing within a multi-professional healthcare system. |
Assessment Information
1 poster presentation and short report, 1.5 class exam, 2 course papers of 1500-2000 words, 3.0 degree exam.
1 presentation report= 10%, 2 course papers = 20%, class exam = 20%, degree exam = 50%. |
