However Applicable Mathematics 2 (MATH08031) and Mathematical Methods 2 (MATH08032) can be taken in place of Molecules, Genes and Cells 1. |

Select exactly 40 credits from the following School Collection: 'School collection schedule A to Q, T and W level 7 or 8' (SCH_A-Q/T/W_7/8) , as available. Notes:It is recommended that at least 20 points of courses be taken from courses within the College of Science and Engineering and students on this degree programme should take, where possible, The Dynamic Cell 2 (BILG08009) and/or Genes and Gene Action 2 (BILG08003). For students entering Year 2 of the degree programme directly (known as entry with Advanced Standing), Chemistry 2X (CHEM08018) is strongly recommended. Chemistry 2X is compulsory for students transferring into Year 2 of the degree programme with a pass in Biological Chemistry 1B (CHEM08023). Depending on entry qualifications, students may also be required to take mathematics courses. |
