    Notes: No Previous knowledge of Portuguese in necessary; a pass in a modern foreign language or a classical language at SCE Higher grade or equivalent evidence of linguistic proficiency in normally required.
    Politics and Institutions of Contemporary France is only available to students who have passed French 1A or French 1B.
    For Linguistics 2Lh students must have passed: English Language 1 or Linguistics 1A or Linguistics 1B.
     


    Year 3, Academic year 2010/11, Starting month: August

  • Notes: Entry to Honours normally requires (i) passes in all six subjects taken in the first two years, (ii) a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in the second year of the relevant Modern European Language, (iii) a mark of 50% or above, at the first attempt, in Mind, Matter & Language and Knowledge and Reality.

    At least 30 weeks spent in the relevant country and prescribed work in Philosophy and the relevant language in an approved establishment.
