Course descriptionThis course gives PGT students the opportunity to take advantage of specialist courses in architectural history, which, with the agreement of their programme director, is seen to complement their main, postgraduate studies. It allows them to deepen their knowledge in an existing area or to broaden their learning into an area not covered in their undergraduate study. The student will choose a 20-credit honours undergraduate course in architectural history and attend the normal classes for that course. However, the output will differ from that of the undergraduate students and will be the equivalent of a 6,000 word research paper. The exact nature of this will be negotiated by the student and the relevant course organiser and will be recorded in an Individual Learning Contract.

They will have reflected on their learning and negotiated their own learning contract which will allow them to produce work at the appropriate Masters level.
