Course descriptionIndicative course content
This Course is a practical studio based introduction to Art specialisms offered at stage 2 in eca. Initially all students experience a broad introduction to Fine Art Practice followed by the opportunity to progressively specialise at the end of stage one.

Aims of course
1 To provide a broad practical visual education that enables individual students to make informed choices about stage two specialist study, relevant to their abilities and aspirations.
2 To encourage curiosity and risk taking.
3 To introduce experimental concepts and practices in Art practice.

Mode of delivery
Studio Based, Site Visit, Technical Exercises, Group Crit, Project, Tutorial.

Pre-requisites Co-requisites Students MUST also take: MAFA Research 1 (ARTX07001)
