The presentation of a cohesive and well considered body of work that reflects personal interest and a high level of critical understanding of current practice.

Aims of course
1 To propose and execute a clear programme of study that defines a high level of self determination and ambition
2 Through critical analysis present a selected body of work that communicates personal vision and an awareness of current practice
3 To organise and present a body of work that shows reflection and a high level of visual and intellectual rigour.

Mode of delivery
Studio-Based,Group Crit Exhibition, Installation,Individual Mentoring.

Pre-requisites Co-requisites Students MUST also take: Research Drawing 4 (Painting) (ARTX10010) AND Professional Practice 4 (Painting) (ARTX10011) AND Art 4: Research Project (ARTX10017)

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Present a body of work that clearly communicates a personal set of ideas and concerns through the mediums inherent in current art practice.
2. Demonstrate the ability to critically reflect on the relative values within personal practice and those within current art practice.
3. Present evidence of the execution of a series of displays, installations/exhibitions of work that show individuality and ambition
