Course description | This course is project based. It aims to develop in-depth understanding following the core courses taught in the previous semester.
The course consists of a number of projects in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, construction management and fire safety. Each student will be assigned two projects, depending on his/her degree programme.
The course is intended to be undertaken largely by personal study. It requires students to research the subject area sufficiently to enable them to critically evaluate the results of their analysis or to develop an appropriate solution for the problem, depending on the nature of the project.
